    • Very close – Chapel of the Transfiguration, Teton National Park, Wyoming. Those are the Grand Tetons in the background. It was built in 1925. The photo is from 1993. BTW – “Grand Tetons” is derived from the local French trappers who named the three peaks “Les Trios Tetons” meaning “Three Breasts.” The Grand Teton—the tallest of the three—literally means “the big tit.”

      • Well, I figured I’d better take a stab at it, since those are surely aspens in the foreground and much like Rocky Mountains in the background. Funny tale about the name. I hadn’t heard it, but hubby says he has.
